A galvanized chain link fence with top rail. Tahoe Fence stocks a wide variety of wire materials for you to select from, including: barbed wire, field fence, nonclimb, weld wire, galvanized chain link, and vinyl coated chain link.

A green, vinyl coated chain link fence with top rail. Vinyl coated chain link fences are very popular around the Lake Tahoe area. One reason is because many planning codes require them. Another reason is because they blend in so well with the Sierra's pristine environment. The three standard colors for vinyl coated chain link that Tahoe Fence sells, repairs, and installs are black, brown, and green.
A black, vinyl coated chain link fence with top wire. Generally, it is a good idea to have top rail on your chain link fence, especially in snow laden areas like Lake Tahoe and the Sierras. However, due to planning codes and cost expenditures it is not always feasable. An alternative is a top wire or cable with additional bracing at end and corner posts.
Green (slats) on galvanized (wire), western wire. When privacy is a concern, wood, vinyl, or hedge slats may be installed in existing chain link material. Whichever you choose, they are all relatively easy to install. You can do it yourself, or have Tahoe Fence install them for you. You can also purchase a heavier chain link wire, galvanized or vinyl coated, with wider slats already installed. However, hedge slats are not available with western wire.*
A black, vinyl coated chain link fence bolted to a deck and enclosing a hot tub. Usually posts for wire fences are concreted in the ground. Although, metal posts can be welded to plates and attached to wood, masonary, or metal surfaces as well.
A black, vinyl coated chain link gate with arched top. Tahoe Fence is able to manufacture its own gates. This means we keep a vast stock of gates ready to use. Furthermore, we can create gates to custom fit any unique situations you may have.
Return to Tahoe Fence's Menu Page. *Because fences with slats create more of a solid barrier than an average chain link fence, Tahoe Fence recommends using heavier, thicker diameter posts and toprail, or cable, which provide structural support to the fence. This is in order to protect it from wind storms and snow accumulations.
